Autometer Sample for iPad Contents

Say you’re using your Mac to create a report on tropical fish as your class project. The project contains a story, some images, image descriptions, and an audio file for background ambience. Your challenge:

How do you build and share this project so others can view it on their computers and iPads?

Hmmm, interesting scenrio. You want to be able to view the content on computers and iPads alike, while still delivering a very fluid iPad experience. So which one of these approaches would best solve the problem for you?

Create an iPad app using Apple’s iPhone SDK?

    • > The App Store is a fantastic way for developers to deliver innovative commercial products, but it is not meant to be a repository for school projects. Plus making an app for the iPad doesn't help to view your content on computers as well.

Create a website and then post it on an internet server for others view?

    • > While viewing content hosted on the internet is a good universal solution, do you really have the time, tools, and knowledge to build complex websites from scratch?

Select the project images in Aperture, or iPhoto, or the even the Finder and run a simple Mac?OS?X service that automatically builds an iPad web-app and hosts it on your MobileMe website for others to easily view on their computers and iPads?
